Dear Friends!
Satomi Utsugi
Hello! I am a 1995 U.S.A.-Canada International Exchange Program Student. I knew the YBHP from the foundation following the guidance of the host family recruitment. I recall about that time when I am looking this page. When I participated in this program、 it is my first time to go to overseas and to meet foreigners、 I couldn't communicate with them. I left a regrettable feeling after all it has returned home. Later、 I graduated from high school and had a chance to go to the school of the short term overseas study. It became the one that improved very much for me. This program gave 'the courage and the strong will' to me. That was good memories for me. A little bit long my message. Well、 I will open this page again.

Greetings!
Erin Clement
I have hosted Japanese students since I was very little: Masatoshi Sakamoto、 Setsuko Watanabe、 Keiko Fujita、 Takashi Abe、 to name a few. I hope to visit everyone again someday!! My mother and two sisters have been fortunate enough to go to Japan and visit your country、 and this year is my chance to come as well. I'm sure all is going well with everyone、 and keep in touch.

I travelled as chaperone for Manitoba student's to Japan in 1994 and 1999. Both experiences were special memories. As well、 I think often of the students and chaperones who have visited at our home in Russell. I wonder always how evrything is going for them. we are planning a special celebration in Manitooba this year to mark the 15th anniversay of students visiting Manitoba. I would appreciate any thoughts or comments about how your visit to Maniitoba has made a difference in your life. Best wishes to all! I think of you often.

I will enjoy the rest of my school life until my graduation of high school. I have no chance to see our program students、 I would like to see them、 talk them. Next year、 after the graduation、 we are going out the different paths each other、 I hope I am looking forward to seeing you some day.

Hello!
Junko Nagayama
I am Junko Nagayama; a 1999 U.S.A-Canada International Exchange Program Student. I opened the YBF HP and enjoyed about the good old days. It past 2 years after I joined YBF program、 I changed my life by that. When I was a 2nd grade of my high school、 I joined this program and I had an interest in the international exchange. Then、 I decided to go abroad to study for 1 year. 1999 of the summer I left Japan、 I came back in July、 this year. I had a lot of experience not only good memories but also sadness during the days. 5 months later、 I graduated from my high school in August、 now I study hard to enter the university. I will do my best. I am very thankful to YBF、 they gave me a change to have an interest an international exchange. Sometimes I mailed to my same program students、 we are sorry we don’t have a chance to see. It is getting cold. Please be careful of your health.

Yuta Mimori
I am Yuta Mimori; a 1999 U.S.A.- Canada International Exchange Program Student. Our group、 27 students went around Los Angeles、 Minneapolis、 Canada-Manitoba、Vancouver with many surprise. In my deeply impressions are my host family、 Klassen Family、 they took me out camping and shopping. They warmly accepted me. I would like to inform you、 Laurel Roberts; the 5th Manitoban Exchange Program is an Assistant Language Teacher on the JET Program at the high school in Iwaki. I have communication class with her. My dream was a communication specialist before the exchange program、 but I changed my dream to become a Japanese teacher who teaches Japanese to foreigners. I had an unforgettable experience. Keeping these memories in my mind、 I am going to study harder.
