| It passed 9 years after the program. At that time I was second grade of my high school、 now、 I am 26 years old. How are you everyone? I am working in the revival institution of an intellectual handicapped person. Toward the independence support of the handicapped person、 I do work with them and also be doing the care of their meal every day. However、 the understanding the handicapped person is not obtained readily really. When I worry about my job、 I always remember that time and I become the feeling that will make efforts again. | |

| I received the letter of the cancellation of this year’s exchange programs、 and thank you. Last year、 we were surprised to hear that my daughter was chosen this program. We hoped she would get unforgettable experiences in her high school life this summer and very excited. Her brother told calmly about the uncertain international situation. Unfortunately、 the war in Iraq and the increased risk of terrorism around the world that has come as a result of this war created an unstable and dangerous climate in which to travel overseas. I know that YBF Directors were faced with a difficult decision to cancel the 2003 exchange. Although my daughter is no doubt truly disappointed、 I am sure that she will do her best to make her dreams come true to go abroad. I was able to have a chance to study about Manitoba. I expect that she will catch her dream by herself someday. Get the second chance! |
